Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Mai Credentialing Pathway Institute (MCPI), we are committed to providing high-quality educational programs for candidates pursuing AAID Associate Fellow, AAID Fellow, and ABOI/DABOI credentials. Because our courses involve limited enrollment, personalized faculty guidance, recorded educational content, and extensive preparation, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to all registrations.

1. Registration

Enrollment is confirmed only after full payment or receipt of an approved payment plan. Your seat is reserved once registration is complete.

2. Student Cancellation

Within 7 calendar days of registration

  • Students may cancel within seven (7) calendar days of registration for a full refund, provided that no course materials, recorded modules, webinars, or live sessions have been accessed.

More than 30 days before the course start date

  • Refund of tuition paid, less a 10% administrative fee.

15–30 days before the course start date

  • Refund of 50% of tuition paid.

Less than 15 days before the course start date

  • No refunds will be issued.

3. After the Course Begins

Once any of the following has occurred, no refunds will be provided:

  • Access to recorded educational modules
  • Attendance at live webinars or Zoom sessions
  • Receipt of course materials
  • Individual faculty mentoring or case review sessions
  • Access to the online learning platform

 4. Transfers

Students who cannot attend their scheduled cohort may request a one-time transfer to a future MCPI cohort.

Transfer requests:

  • Must be submitted in writing before the course begins.
  • Are subject to seat availability.
  • Must be used within 12 months of the original enrollment.
  • May be subject to a $150 administrative transfer fee.
  • Only one transfer is permitted per registration.

5. Course Cancellation by MCPI

If MCPI cancels a course for any reason, students may choose either:

  • A full refund of all tuition paid, or
  • Transfer to the next available cohort at no additional cost.

MCPI is not responsible for travel expenses, hotel accommodations, or other personal expenses incurred due to course cancellation.

6. Missed Sessions

Students who miss live sessions are not entitled to refunds.

When available, recorded sessions will be provided according to the course curriculum.

7. Payment Plans

Students enrolled under a payment plan remain responsible for all scheduled payments unless a written cancellation qualifies under this policy.

Failure to complete payments may result in suspension of course access and withholding of certificates or completion documentation until the account is paid in full.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

MCPI understands that unforeseen emergencies may occur.

Requests due to serious illness, family emergencies, military deployment, or other extraordinary circumstances will be reviewed individually. Supporting documentation may be requested. Approval of refunds, credits, or transfers remains solely at MCPI’s discretion.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 10–14 business days after approval.

10. Acceptance of Policy

By registering for any MCPI course, the participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
